The Career Transition Consultancy is a psychology-led practice helping you navigate career change with clarity and confidence. Founded by Nisha John, we bring rigour, research, and real understanding to career pivots, returns, and reinventions.
Our Approach
Most career transitions happen in panic mode. A redundancy, a burnout, a quiet realisation that something has to change.
But career change is deeply personal. It touches on identity, confidence, values, and what you want from life.
We take a different approach. We help you step back, understand what’s really going on, and design what’s next with clarity and intention, not urgency and guesswork. With psychology at the centre, we help you understand who you are before deciding where to go next.
This isn’t reactive job searching. It’s career transition, designed intentionally.
Who We Work With
We work with people who are:
Pivoting — ready to change direction but unsure where to start
Returning — re-entering the workforce after a career break
Redesigning — rethinking what work means for the next chapter

About the Founder
Nisha John MSc Psychology | PGDip Occupational Psychology | Business Psychologist
Nisha brings a rare combination of strategic rigour and psychological depth to career transitions. With a background in management consulting at Accenture and bp, she spent years working on Operating Model Transformation, Process Consulting, Agile, Business Analysis, and Organisational Change and Effectiveness.
She knows what it means to navigate complex systems and help organisations through change. Now, she applies that same structured thinking to help individuals design their own transitions.
Nisha founded The Career Transition Consultancy because she saw too many people making career decisions in panic, without the space to understand themselves first. Using the lens of business psychology, she supports clients to step back, gain clarity, and make career moves that fit their values, strengths, and lives.
